Numbers are entities that have a mystical occult dimension attached to them. Numerology is the occult science that deals with the kind of vibrations that numbers have & the impact that they exert upon living beings by means of inanimate objects.
Every number reverberates on a specific frequency which comes from the planet that it is associated with. Numbers from 1 to 9 are ruled by the same nine planets that form the basis of Jyotish Shāstra or Vedic Astrology.

The Troublesome Numbers
Among all the nine numbers, only two numbers are known for attracting troubles of all kinds at one point or the other in the life of a person who unknowingly forges an association with them. These are Number 4 and Number 8.

Number 4
Number 4 is ruled by Rāhu which as per the Jyotish Shāstra or Vedic Astrology is the North Node of the Moon. Rāhu is a Chhāyā Graha or a 'Shadow Planet' which means that this planet does not have a physical existence.
However, the effects of Rāhu are felt very intensely when a person comes into contact with this planet's energy/vibrations.
Rāhu signifies Lack of Clarity, Bad Relations, Sudden Losses, Gambling, Narcotics, Immorality, Accidents and Diagnostic Confusion to name a few.
Number 8
Number 8 is ruled by Saturn or Shani, which is perhaps the most dreaded planet among all. Saturn is the planetary manifestation of Lord Shani- the God of Justice & Karma.
People who go through the periods of Saturn's influence, face hardships & troubles in the form of seemingly never-ending obstacles since Lord Shani is the judge who gives us the results of predominantly but not necessarily - our negative karmas.
Saturn signifies Delays, Obstacles, Insults, Hurdles, Failure, Struggle, Non-Recognition, Losses, Loneliness and Depression among others.
Avoid 4 & 8 At All Costs (If Possible)
Since number 4 and number 8 attract troubling vibrations, it is always advised to avoid purchasing vehicles and properties (real estate) whose numbers add up to either 4 or 8, at all costs.
Residential spaces whose numbers add up to 4 or 8 are highly likely to attract negative energies that could promote bickering among the family members, sudden accidents or prolonged illness with difficulty in diagnosing the fundamental cause.
